Cathrina Kok, MA, LPC

Cathrina is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Moody Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Her background in ministry has shaped her passion for walking alongside children, teens, young adults, women, and families through life’s most difficult seasons. She has experience supporting individuals navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, emotional abuse, and more.

As an Asian-American, Cathrina values creating a safe, welcoming, and culturally sensitive space for all clients. With gentleness, patience, and deep empathy, she blends somatic, cognitive, and dialectical behavioral approaches to support each person’s unique healing journey. She believes change happens in time and considers it an honor to walk with others as they pursue growth and wholeness.

Taking the first step into counseling can feel overwhelming and isolating. But you don’t have to walk this road alone. I’d be honored to come alongside you as we gently explore the roots of your pain and uncover the strength within your story. Together, we can piece together a mosaic of healing and hope—one step at a time.

Cathrina also serves as the Intake Coordinator for Spring Tree Counseling. With care and attention to each individual’s needs, she helps ensure that prospective clients are connected with a therapist who is well-suited to their goals.
