Yangla is a licensed professional counselor with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is trained in Trauma, EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 and Prepare/Enrich for premarital and couple counseling. Yangla enjoys working collaboratively with clients who are experiencing myriad concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma and life transitions along with couples who are working on communication, conflict resolution and increasing their fondness. She values past experiences working with individuals and couples from multicultural backgrounds, identity & family of origin, navigating work stress and adverse childhood experiences. She likes incorporating a humanistic approach, person-centered, emotion-focused along with acceptance & commitment therapy. She is also a big fan of Logotherapy, which is about finding meaning in life and our existence.
