What inspired you to become a therapist?
I’ve always found people so interesting and I love to hear their stories and understand what makes each person unique. I am confident that healing happens in relationships, so I am honored to journey with others as they process their emotions and experiences and move forward in ways that feel resonant and aligned with their values.
What is something you would like new clients to know about beginning the counseling process?
Starting counseling can feel awkward or overwhelming, and that’s okay. In counseling, we can take it slowly as we get to know each other. When you work with me, I welcome you to come as you are. I look forward to getting to know you and working with you towards your goals.
How would you describe your style or approach in counseling?
I am collaborative, relational, and warm in my approach. Counseling is your space to process your emotions and your experiences. I want to accompany you as you gain insight into your life and support you as you make the changes you want to make. It is important that you feel safe, supported, and empowered in our work together.
What self-care practices do you enjoy doing most?
I feel grounded when I am moving my body and being outside in nature. Going on walks, often with my dog, plays a huge role in my self-care. I also enjoy reading novels, spending time with my family and friends, and traveling. Exploring new places can be so fun and refreshing!
