Kirstyn Besch, Graduate Clinical Intern

As a graduate clinical intern, Kirstyn is nearing the completion of an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity International University. She is also working toward an MA in Theological Studies from Trinity, and she holds a BA in Psychology from Northwestern University. Kirstyn has experience working in a variety of non-profit spaces, including campus ministry and adaptive recreation. She has a passion for coming alongside others as they journey toward growth and flourishing. Kirstyn takes a client-centered approach to therapy and utilizes evidence-based practices to provide holistic, integrative care for concerns like anxiety and depression, life transitions, grief and loss, spiritual concerns, and identity issues. Kirstyn works closely under the supervision of Travis Booth, MA, LCPC and receives weekly faculty supervision through Trinity International University.

Sometimes life is hard. Yet it’s my belief that we were intended to face the complexities and challenges of life together. My hope is that counseling offers a safe place for you to be heard, seen, and known, and that in the process we can work together to foster greater healing and wholeness.
