Katie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree and Trauma Certificate from Wheaton College, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northwestern University. Her primary aims in therapy are to help people understand both why they may be struggling and how they can heal. As every person is unique, Katie seeks to treat her clients in a custom-tailored way that fits their needs, utilizing a combination of emotion-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. She brings a curious and compassionate demeanor in order to create a space where people feel heard, valued and safe.
The act of sharing a story brings people together and unlocks healing in beautiful ways. My desire is that as we embark on the meaningful though often difficult process of working through your story, you will you will find hope, healing and redemption.
