Farrah R. Walker, MS, LMFT

Farrah is a graduate of the Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s Program at Northwestern University. After gaining clinical experience with the Betty D. Harris Family Clinic located at the Family Institute, she joined the group at Spring Tree. She works with individuals and couples with an emphasis on infidelity, couples in conflict, interfaith, interracial and multicultural couples. In addition, Farrah works with couples and individuals in later seasons of life who are navigating transitions such as retirement, grief or divorce. Farrah believes change can best occur when therapy includes tangible and actionable steps clients can take to improve the quality of their day to day lives and relationships.

I enjoy working collaboratively with couple and individual clients to help identify and address presenting challenges. I seek to provide a safe place in my counseling office for clients to engage in change and develop new strategies and approaches to long-standing matters. I value working with client feedback and integrating various theoretical and approaches and techniques that uniquely fit client situations.
