She is a strong believer in the power of healing and growth in the context of relationship, and so has a deep desire to assist women in finding freedom, greater meaning, and increased quality of life through the work of the counseling relationship. In addition to individual counseling, Melody enjoys facilitating group therapy and teaching workshops.
I so much enjoy the multi-faceted nature of working with diverse populations and utilizing a variety of therapeutic frameworks with both individuals and couples. Women’s life experiences and roles in both our culture and others, I believe, have the potential to create unique stressors and conflicts, as well as opportunities for growth and positive change. I also feel strongly about the healing and growth that is made possible for both men and women in the context of a supportive relationship.
