John completed the coursework for his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College He values walking alongside clients as they navigate areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive process, and grief. His past experiences included working in individual and group settings with adolescents and young adults. John has also provided services for men working through relational conflict, childhood trauma, and loss. Often utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Techniques and Attachment Theory, John helps clients make lasting changes in their life. John is currently a clinical staff intern with his license pending the completion of internship hours.
I believe in the power of collaboration for discovering inner resources for change. I enjoy working with a diverse population and utilizing a variety of theoretical approaches to find creative ways to address life's challenges. It is my hope to create a space for growth and healing, being a trusted confidant with the things that matter most in life.
