Farrah R. Walker, MS, AMFT
Farrah is a graduate of the Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s Program at Northwestern University and an experienced clinician with the Betty D. Harris Family Clinic located at the Family Institute. She works with adults and families with an emphasis on couples in conflict, multi-generational families and interracial and multicultural couples. In addition, Farrah works with couples and individuals in later seasons of life who are navigating transitions such as retirement, grief or divorce. Farrah believes change can best occur when therapy engages the entire family system.
I enjoy working collaboratively with couples and individual clients to help identify and address presenting challenges. I seek to provide a safe place in my counseling office for clients to engage in change, develop new strategies and approaches to long standing matters. I value working with client feedback and integrating various theoretical and approaches and techniques that uniquely fit client situations.
