Child & Adolescent Counseling
The staff at Spring Tree has years of experience working with teens and their parents. Sometimes it is best to address adolescent issues in the context of family therapy; at other times it may be best for adolescents to work individually with a therapist. Adolescents today face an ever changing and increasingly demanding set of challenges. We have both male and female staff experienced in helping teens work through those challenges.
Working with children requires a special set of clinical skills and ability to connect with a child in their own voice. Play therapy as well as other specialized approaches are part of working with children and the role and inclusion of parents in the treatment process is very important.
